The Onsite Detention (OSD) Basins form part of Moorebank Logistics Park West Project, set to become Australia’s largest freight infrastructure project which will link Port Botany direct to rail terminals and warehousing on a 243ha site.
The OSD Basins landscaping package involves stripping of 3 existing profiled basins totalling 36,000m2 in size, installation of sandstone weirs and basin drainage infrastructure, installation of bioretention media, temporary soil and turf caps, soil stabilisation of embankments, spot planting of native plants, and landscaping to access roads including timber sleeper walls, road base over subgrade, and a final asphalt layer.
B & K previously delivered a Stonewall polymer application to the Moorebank Intermodal Development for Georgiou Group, so we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to continue our great working relationship with them on the MPW Project.
